Yaacov Agam (b. 1928) is Israel's best known and most collected artist.
His work is immediately recognizable for its dynamic arrangements of color and pattern.
He is one of the foremost innovators from the Op Art movement.
This work, with its fantastic palette of rich purples and blues, seems to be a frozen moment of an exploded cubist creation.
