A set of five musical instrument Holiday tree ornaments.  This fabulous group of hand made and beautifully detailed pieces were made in the 1970's for luxury retailer, Cartier.  Each ornament is made from sterling silver, and three of the five also have hand carved mahogany.  The group comprises of a harp, a drum, guitar, violin and banjo.  The string instruments have fine sterling wire for strings, where as the harp uses fine filament cord.

Each piece has a small ring to add either a slim silk ribbon, a coloured cotton, or a clear fishing line can be used to hang them from the tree.  There are two Cartier card boxes and three original Cartier felt pouches that will accompany the decorations.  Each instrument is stamped both "Cartier" and "Sterling".  A great way to decorate a tree for the music lover arranged along with other festive decorations.  Made in America, circa 1970's.
